THE TRANSITION FROM SUMMER TO AUTUMN IN YOUR SKIN CARE
Time to take a look at your fall routine. While we easily switch from wearing summer dresses and t-shirts to picking out the leather jacket and favorite pair of jeans, many forget that skin care also needs a transition between these two seasons. Because like many of us, it is not certain that your skin is as happy with the weather changes.
We may not be in full winter mode yet and may be waiting a bit to break out the heavy moisturizer, but it's never too early to start preparing before all the warm days are completely over for the year. There is still sun and warmth left, and autumn is a transitional period where you can slowly start replacing some of the products in your skin care routine. Some may want to adjust the number of products they use in their skin care routine and choose to add a few steps. It may be an adjustment for some, but if you want to maintain the healthy glow we all strive for, it's important to use the right products at the right time. Then your skin will remain healthy and fresh throughout the fall and at the same time be ready for the even colder winter months when that time comes.
The transition from summer to fall in your skincare routine doesn't have to be problematic, and on this page we'll go over some of our best tips to make it as easy as possible.
START ADDING MORE MOISTURE - BUT WAIT WITH THE HEAVIEST CREAMS
All summer long, your light moisturizer has likely worked wonders for your skin. It has kept your skin free from acne breakouts and regulated excess sebum production even when you have spent many hours in the sun. Unfortunately, these light moisturizers will not be enough as soon as the outside temperature starts to drop, there is a cold wind and generally more instability and coldness in the weather. Fall may be the time when you start considering replacing the moisturizer that has been your companion all summer.
Anyone who has spent time in particularly hot areas or has a tendency to sweat a lot during the summer may have used a gel-based moisturizer. Now that it's gotten colder outside and we don't sweat as much, you'll quickly notice that your skin isn't as happy with your choice of moisturizer. Jumping straight to a heavy moisturizer can be off-putting to some, but with the wide variety of different formulas available, finding one that will give your skin the moisture it needs won't be a problem.
It's very important to keep the skin hydrated to prevent the skin from going into full panic mode, which can lead to unwanted breakouts, oily skin, dryness and all those things that none of us want. We've selected some moisturizers that will hydrate and soothe your skin without clogging pores or feeling heavy on the skin. A well-balanced and hydrated skin is the basis for a smooth transition between the seasons.

ADD MORE MOISTURIZING PRODUCTS
If you still feel like your skin needs extra hydration, it might be a good idea to include a facial oil in your skin care routine. Facial oils can be used either alone as a moisturizer or mixed with your moisturizer for an extra boost. By adding just 2 or 3 drops to your face cream, you will quickly notice an improvement in your skin.
Here you can also add even more products to your skincare routine to really give your skin the boost it needs. By using a moisturizing essence, ampoule, serum or emulsion and adding an extra step, you will give your skin long-lasting moisture. These products are light and quickly absorbed into the skin and are often adapted to different skin types or skin problems. So just choose the product that suits you best, whether it's to lighten pigmentation spots, reduce the appearance of fine lines or treat acne.
